Public Education / Fire Prevention Programs

The Fire Marshal provides public education and prevention programs for the community. The Fire Marshal is also responsible for the completion of Juvenile Fire Setter evaluations, conducts annual inspections of businesses, reviews plans for new and existing businesses, investigations of fires, provides smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, free gun locks to families in need, and oversees the storage and handling of hazardous materials.
